Planet Rock Team Alum, Zach Hammer finished 3rd in Men's Speed this morning at the IFSC World Championships in Seoul, South Korea. The World Champs only happens every other year and is one of the biggest events in international comp climbing.
Zach qualified in first place with a new competition best of 4.80 and ultimately finished third after battling his way through the knock-out final. This was an incredible way to end a breakout season for Zach; one in which he also earned his first two IFSC World Cup Medals, took Bronze in the World Games Relay event with Sam Watson (they also set the relay world record), and finished 6th overall in the World Cup season ranks. Congrats Zach! Your Planet Rock Family is so Proud!
